I am Enough to be a Part of the CrossFit Community

Thank you so much for making my first experience fun, and humbling all at once.

I’ve been coaching in the fitness world for over 5 years until October 2020 my best friend ‘made’ me try CrossFit at Driven to Conquer. Needless to say, I loved how challenging and different the workouts were compared to my endurance / Orangetheory background. I remember starting and thinking, “if I can learn what I need to, I want to compete.”

A year later, I took a leap of faith and started coaching our members as a coach, along with stepping into another CrossFit gym - Mile High CrossFit. No matter what type of fitness I’m coaching, I intend to always make their hour a fun experience and help members excel at their own level safely.

I was asked to do Girls Gone RX, and I immediately said yes thinking “if I can do well at Hyrox, I think I can do this competition too.” CrossFit and competitions are not just workouts. You learn so much about working with a team, their strengths, and more importantly about yourself.

I was shot with nerves all day knowing I had a cheering crowd from both gyms that made me realize how members feel each and every day when we are coaching them through their hour CrossFit workout. I’m so impressed seeing every woman competing at different levels and giving it their all! And for a great cause, may I add.

Thank you for showing me that I’m capable, that I need improvement, and that I am enough to be a part of the CrossFit community just like everyone else is!
